Worksite Products

Worksite Products, also referred to occasionally as Ancillary Benefits, are voluntary insurance benefits that an employer can offer to their employees in addition to their current Health Insurance Plan. Employees are allowed to pick and choose the coverages that fit their needs and lifestyle.


Worksite Products cover a wide range of benefits, including:

  • Supplemental Short-Term Disability - Benefits that an employee can receive while unable to work due to an injury or illness, in addition to their statutory Short-Term Disability benefits.
  • Hospital Indemnity - Provides an employee with a fixed cash amount for each day they are confined to a hospital, for up to a certain period.
  • Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance - Provides a benefit for an employee who has suffered the loss of an appendage due to an accident either on or off the job, or in the event of death will pay a benefit to the insured's named beneficiary.
  • Cancer & Critical Illness Insurance - Benefits that will help an employee who has been diagnosed with cancer or a critical illness with out-of-pocket expenses, such as treatments, home care, utilities, and rent or mortgage payments.
